Me and my Sawvivor, we were such a great team. |
 |
Here's James using the Sawvivor when Sigmund, him, and myself spent
a weekend on the slopes of Giant Mountain. |
 |
My Sawvivor proudly standing guard over my other gear this summer at
Grizzled Ocean. |
 |
An awesome pile of wood, of course cutup with the Sawvivor. |
 |
And then - Tragedy! While pruning Samual, our Christmas tree, the Sawvivor
gave its all, and made the ultimate sacrifice. |
 |
The aluminum couldn't handle the strain for some reason, and the blade-holder-inner
rivet broke, taking some aluminum with it. |
 |
Woe is me! No sawvivor! |
 |
So, mustering up my resources I tracked down the producers of the Sawvivor
and I was suprised to see that it's covered by a lifetime warranty! Woo
Hoo! I quickly dispatched an email to Trailblazer products on a sunday
evening. |
 |
Amazingly, by Monday morning at 8 AM, I had a reply! They are going
to send me a new Sawvivor! |
 |
I wrote them back, thanking them back with a few suggestions for the
Sawvivor II should there ever be one. |
 |
David wrote me back and, taking my suggestions into consideration, threw
in an extra carrying case to spare the mesh on my bag from being abraded
by the corners of the sawvivor in the future! Not only did he fufill the
warranty, he sent me an advanced replacement saw, with another blade,
and a carrying case! Amazing! Now that's standing behind your products. |
 |
And, I didn't have to wait long. By 12/15 this strange package arrived
at my doorstep. Could it be... |
 |
A Sawvivor! I was exceptionally excited. |
 |
I was ready to cut up some wood. |
 |
My old pal, the Sawvivor, was replaced by new pal... The Sawvivor! |
 |
Trying out the stylish carrying case. It fit like a glove. |
 |
Draw!
It even came with a belt loop, so you can wear your Sawvivor around
town. It's fashionable and practical. You never know when you'll need
a Sawvivor by your side. I wouldn't recommend wearing it to an airport
though! |
| So I'd like to give my thanks to Dave at Trailblazer products
for his outstanding customer service, backing up a product that seldomly
needs backing up, the venerable Sawvivor. |
