Starting off, this is a wire run Scott and I did at Chanmpain
Stone. It was a 2 section fiber run about 900 feet long, 2/3 under ground
in pipe, and a third aerial. |
Scott doing some fine tuning on the pole. |
The terminus in the mainentance barn. |
Open! |
Our Jerry Rig cable distribution device. |
Here's the pipes that we had at our disposal. |
The quarry. |
Tom, my co conspritor. |
Me! |
Up on the pole. |
Looking across the chasm upto the maintainence barn. |
Doing some work inside the maintainence barn. |
Okay, onto the truckdoza! These are the old, crusty fuel hoses that
were on it and leaked pretty bad. |
Brake Booster up for paint. |
Master cylinder. |
Splicing in the new instrument cluster. I hope we did it all right! |
More slicehood. |
The engine compartment a week ago. |
Not bad. |
Splices almost complete. |
Bye truck! |
Final coat of paint on the booster. |
And master cylinder. |
On to the next weekend...
I stopped by Adirondack Auto Brokers on Friday night (www.germanautoparts.com),
and picked up a ton of parts! This was going to be a fun weekend! |
D&W Also finished my new fuel hoses. |
Dad checking out some activity. |
The parts pile again. |
We actually had the barn door open on Saturday as it was so warm and
sunny outside. |
I dropped some dough and bought a new alternator. Hmmm, as a bonus I
noticed that it has a W terminal! That'll allow a tachometer should I
decide to go that route. |
All the splices were also completed finally. |
Josh doing some work on his engine. His car is next after the 'doza
is done. |
New coolant hoses for the heater core. |
What's wrong with this picture. |
More work completed on the engine compartment. |
Hooked up the heater controls. The device that keeps the heater control
cable stationary was broken so I had to do a lot of rigging to figure
out a new one, but it's even better than the old one now. |
The lift... |
Awesome. |
Me and Dad! |
New Axles installed! |
Boy, it's starting to look like an engine compartment now! |
Oh yeah baby! |
Brake junk is installed too! |
What a mess! |
But it was worth it for this! A together dashboard! |
Hmmm, 268,000 miles! Yep, that's what the engine has on it. Only 232,000
more to reach the cool half million. |
Bye Truckdoza! |
My dad also installed some mood lighting into his tool box. |
It is awesome and makes finding stuff way easier. That's all for this
update! |
