The Jetta with Melvin on top. Yes, the Sawvivor claims yet
another victim!!! |
Melvin up in the den. Yes. He is huge. 10 1/2 feet high, and 7-8 feet
wide at the widest. Suprisingly, it was very stable in the tree stand,
probably because we made extra effort to make sure it was centered right
this time. |
Melvin after some trimming. |
View from the living room. It's big. |
Yep. |
Jasmine and lights. |
Me, putting lights on. |
Jasmine enjoying the lights. |
And the tree is lit. That's right folks, 3,467 lights! No joke! 15 sets
of 150, 6 sets of 200, and 7 bubblers, 10 lights in the star. That comes
out to 3,467 lights. We beat last year by a large margin. |
Man, every time I see this photo, I think I look like a huge dork! Haha,
well I am I guess. |
All the light in this photo is coming from the tree obviously. |
And, if you're outside looking in all you see is lights! It doesen't
look like we even have a tree in there! Haha! Melvin is so huge he fills
the entire window, and that window is 6 feet wide! |
Pretty awesome I say. |
Some final shots of us and Melvin. |
Me and melvin. |
Jaime and melvin. As you can see, Melvin dwarfs her. |
Yep. |
A few detail shots. |
And the obligatory abstractions. |

That's it, until next year! |
