Truckdoza Chassis Restoration Completed!

All the goods came back from powdercoat, and we put it back on.

The morning greeted us with a daunting task...
Put all this on the truck!
Shiny!
They looked so freaking awesome we couldn't wait to get at it!
Underneath the engine when we started.
Drivers side wheel well.
Underneath the truck bed.
It looked pretty darn good!
Floor pans
Awesomeness.
We decided to break for a few minutes and do some hunting with a leaf spring bow!
Dave found a great projectile, the future strut insert!
Strut assembly all together
Hub and carrier ready to go
Lower control arm. Polyurethane bushings. We also welded the ARB mount to it.
Poly bushings for the back.
Had to clean a bit of powdercoat off to get the axles to mate properly, no big deal!
Installed!

Thought the axle tube would make a good battering ram!
It worked wonderfully. Dave backed me up!

Axle tube also makes great bazooka!
Axle and leaf springs installed!
Nice!

Dave looking "Badass!"
Mary did some cleaning on a beetle.
She also wore appropriate beetle camouflage, I could barely see her!
Bob's SVO model.
Dave welded in this SICK roll cage...
You barely would know it's there...
Very tight to the body.
It's like a 32 point roll cage or something.
Okay, mabye a 12 actually. It fit real nice around the interior trim. The back seat might not be very useful though!
Dave...
